Annual Cross Border Renal Technical Meeting 2014

The Annual Renal Technical Meeting was the Brain Child of our colleagues working in dialysis units in Northern Ireland.  From time to time speakers from the South were invited to present at these meetings.

In recent years the meetings have become more formal, are held biennially and alternate between north and south, thus sharing ideas and forging co-operation between healthcare professionals on both sides of the border.

Today the organising committee for the Cross Border Renal Technical Meeting comprises of Charlie Sharratt, Co Chair (Belfast City Hospital),  Paul Lowe, Co Chair (Beaumont Hospital), Joe Smith (Daisy Hill Hospital), and Frank Kelly (St Vincent’s University Hospital).
