The BEAI are delighted to host the 26th Annual Scientific Conference on Friday 29th September 2023 in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork. The theme of the 2023 conference is ‘Diversity in Clinical Engineering’.

The BEAI are pleased to publish the 2023 Annual Scientific Conference draft programme which can be found here
We are also excited to announce that the guest speaker for this years conference will be Dónal Óg Cusack.
The National HSCP Office has agreed to providing seed funding on a once off basis which will be awarded for one research project with funding up to €20,000 and two or three smaller projects to enable and encourage HSCP to undertake research activity.
Applications will be accepted from eligible HSCP working in publicly funded health services (see application form for more details). The application process will open on 25th September 2023 and close on Thursday 26th October 2023. The winner(s) will be contacted by 24th of November 2023.

CHAT23 is a 1-day hackathon that will bring together HSE frontline staff and their eHealth colleagues to focus on ways to improve workflows and resolve specific task-related pressure points or bottlenecks across the health service, through the innovative deployment of intelligent workflow automation and AI technologies.
