BEAI Annual Scientific Conference 2015 - Student Submissions

The Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) of the Biomedical Engineering Association of Ireland will take place on 2nd October, 2015 at the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, Dublin. 

Following on from previous successful student sessions at last year's ASC, we will  have a student session again this year, please see the pdf poster below.
We are writing to colleges to invite abstracts from Masters or Undergraduate students with a view to presenting their scientific research in Biomedical or Clinical Engineering.  There will be one or two 15 minute slots.Examples of relevant subject areas are: Medical Device Development, Physiological Measurement, Rehabilitation etc.
Abstracts should be between 200 and 300 words long, and should be submitted to Meabh Smith (meabhsmith@beaumont.ie) by 11th September, please put BEAI Student Session in the subject line.

A medal and prize of €200 will be awarded for the best presentation, as judged by a panel appointed by the Executive of the BEAI and abstracts for presentations from all the speakers will be published in the BEAI Spectrum.
Attendance at the Annual Scientific Conference will be complementary for all student speakers.
