National HSCP Office Newsletter Issue 2 - June 2018

Dear Colleagues,

Since the last issue of the National HSCP Office newsletter, we have valued the opportunity to meet frontline staff and managers from a number of hospitals and CHOs. In addition, we have worked with health and social care professionals (HSCP) to progress key pieces of work including raising HSCP visibility (leadership), identifying innovation/best practice which may be suitable for spread and identifying opportunities for advanced practice.

Furthermore, we have received an increasing number of requests for HSCP to join national committees. To this end, we have been working with Professional Bodies and nominated HSCP representatives to test the HSCP representation pathway recently designed with Professional Bodies.

Please find attached the second issue of the National HSCP Office newsletter for key updates. We would be grateful if you could circulate this copy as widely as possible, recognising that we do not yet have robust communication networks in place to reach all health and social care professional staff. This is a work in progress.

Should you wish to share information with the wider health and social care professional group, please let us know and we can consider, with you, how best to facilitate this.

Warm regards,

Jackie Reed | National Lead | National Health & Social Care Professions Office
