The talk focus on publication of “A Digital Health Framework for Ireland 2024-2030” (DOH) and the HSE Digital Health Roadmap signals the drive towards a coordinated approach to Digital Health in Ireland. As digital health solutions become more ubiquitous, the need to ensure a proactive approach to patient safety is urgent and there is a need to develop the roles of Digital Clinical Safety Engineers and Officers. This presentation will outline the basic process of Digital Clinical Safety and provides information on development of this specialty.
