Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Engineer Technician
Essential Criteria
- A recognised Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering (or similar)
- Basic electrical/electronic skills enabling assembly, disassembly and adjustment of medical equipment
- Previous hospital experience and or health services work
- Ability to fault find on medical equipment
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent professional, technical and communication skills are a pre-requisite
- Good communication skills
Desirable Criteria
- Registered with the Institute of Engineers of Ireland
- Good understanding of patient critical medical equipment
- Strong communications, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
