Duties
· To service and maintain Infusion devices, exam lights and capital equipment country wide and in Rockford’s premises.
· Prepare new equipment and confirm setups to allow for delivery to customers.
· Working to high standards along with clear and efficient record keeping.
· Supporting and liaising with customers, sending quotes for repairs and technical assistance to clinical engineers in hospitals.
· Liaising with the sales department and the manufacturer for support on their equipment.
· Overnights will be required to allow for service contracts to be performed on customer sites.
· Assist in the planning and coordinate service visits.
Requirements;
· Clean drivers licence.
· Must have third level education in a relevant qualification electronics, mechanical or apprenticeship.
· Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
· Must be driven to achieve a high level of standards, well-groomed and a good communicator.
· Must be flexible, easy to work with and as part of a team.
· The candidate should be computer literate and keen to learn new technologies.
· Experience on infusion devices or within the hospital environment would be an advantage.
· Electrical/ mechanical background (IT knowledge would be an advantage but not critical)
· Must be confident to ask questions.
· Travel internationally for manufacturer training.
· Good English is a must.
· A mobile phone, laptop and van are provided to allow duties to be performed.
