BEAI AGM 2024

 

The BEAI Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 26th July 2024 at 11am  in Clayton Hotel, Liffey Valley.  The meeting will take place both on-line & in-person. 2024 members will be provided with a TEAMs link.

The purpose of the BEAI Annual Scientific Conference is to bring together national and international colleagues working in the field of clinical engineering. As the professional body for engineers bridging the gap between medical technology and the end-user, the BEAI represents members who are primarily hospital based clinical engineers but also have representation from those working in companies that supply technology solutions to hospitals. At the 2024 Annual Scientific Conference, we want to celebrate and highlight the accomplishments of Clinical Engineers in the Irish Healthcare sector.

Call for Abstracts

 

The BEAI are accepting submission of abstracts and for presentation at this year’s 27th Annual Scientific Conference on Friday 20th September 2024 in Croke Park, Dublin.

The deadline for submission is Friday 18th August 2024. Please submit all abstracts and posters through the conference portal.

We welcome abstracts in all areas applied to Biomedical and Clinical Engineering. We encourage submissions that highlight the significant contribution Biomedical / Clinical Engineering make to the Irish healthcare system, the introduction of new initiatives, and the use of digital health as an enabling technology.

Abstract authors will receive notifications of acceptance via email in the week of 26th August 2024.

Submitting an abstract to BEAI ASC 2024 gives you the author, an opportunity to present your work to Biomedical & Clinical Engineers from Ireland, Europe and around the globe, while sharing experiences and knowledge that can benefit the whole profession.

Call for Abstract Submissions for HSCP Conference

 

National HSCP Office is now accepting abstract submissions for this year’s HSCP Conference which takes place on 23rd October, 2024 in Croke Park, Dublin.

The theme for the Conference is “Working in Partnership and Collaboration” and abstract submissions are invited under the following categories:

Working in Partnership – Leadership & Management

Working in Partnership- Clinical Practice

Working in Partnership – Evidence, Research & Development

Working in Partnership- Education and Facilitation of Clinical Learning ( Practice  Education)

The submission portal is open until 12th August, 2024 and can be accessed at the following link, here you will also find further information on the submission process.

Webinar on Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF)

 

SFI would like to invite you to an information webinar delivered by Enterprise Ireland on the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF) on Thursday 25th July, 09.00-10.00 Dublin Local Time.

The DTIF is a is a €500 million challenge-based fund established under Project Ireland 2040 and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2018-2027. It is managed by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and administered by Enterprise Ireland. 

The aim of the call is to encourage collaborations among industry and the research sector into the development and commercialisation of ground-breaking technologies.

Call 7 is a rolling call and is open for submission of applications until the 30th April 2025.
