27th Annual Scientific Conference
The purpose of the BEAI Annual Scientific Conference is to bring together national and international colleagues working in the field of clinical engineering. As the professional body for engineers bridging the gap between medical technology and the end-user, the BEAI represents members who are primarily hospital based clinical engineers but also have representation from those working in companies that supply technology solutions to hospitals. At the 2024 Annual Scientific Conference, we want to celebrate and highlight the accomplishments of Clinical Engineers in the Irish Healthcare sector.

This year is the 27th BEAI Annual Scientific Meeting and the theme of the conference is ‘The Challenging World of Driving Innovation, Delivering on Safety’. We hope to have presentations on Digital Clinical Safety for Clinical Engineers, Medical device records, Medical Device Governance, panel discussions on Clinical Engineering Challenges & Opportunities, practical workshops and much more.
The guest speaker at the conference is Derick Mitchell, CEO, Irish Platform for Patient Organisations, Science & Industry (IPPOSI)
