Health & Social Care Professions (HSCP) Day 1st February 2018

Dear Colleagues

The plan is to celebrate and acknowledge Health & Social Care Professions in our Health Service on 1^st February 2018. This is a day to create awareness, visibility and celebrate the invaluable contribution of HSCPs in the Irish Health Service.

Priority 1 of the Health and Social Care Professions (HSCPs) Education and Development Strategy 2016 – 2019 is Visibility of Health and Social Care Professions. Among the many actions considered by the National HSCPs Office to help increase visibility is to hold a HSCP Day across the health services nationally. The target audience for the Day are HSCPs – it is hoped the Day will contribute to awareness among HSCPs of what their colleagues do to contribute to the health services and the health of the population.- see the full text of the HSCP Education and Development Strategy here
