IMSTA Annual Conference 2014

The 2014 IMSTA Conference will explore the issues around Cultural and Clinical innovation in the Irish Health System and the response needed to keep pace with Technology innovation.    A number of leading professionals will be presenting their thoughts on Technology Innovation, Clinical Innovation and Cultural Innovation.

Some topics/speakers include:

• Professor John Higgins, Professor of O bstetrics and Gynecology, Chair of the Health Innovation Hub will speak about cultural changes he believes possible in the newly configured health system.
• Dr Aine Carroll, National Director of Clinical Strategy & Programmes, HSE, will speak about clinical innovation and how it responds to technology innovation.
• Dr Johnny Walker, Founder of Health Partners, will speak about how our model needs to change from the traditional hospital based doctor focused solution to one where Health Informatics are leveraged to create compelling, personalised, digital and mobile solutions designed to empower the individual to take ownership of their well-being.
