We would like to invite you to take part in a National Ultrasound Survey conducted by the Non-Ionising Radiation Special Interest Group (NIR SIG), Irish Association of
Physicists in Medicine (IAPM). The main goals are to determine the number of ultrasound scanners currently in use in hospitals nationally and to assess the level of
involvement in ultrasound scanner performance via a quality assurance program.
The survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete and we would encourage all staff involved in ultrasound in your hospitals to participate: e.g. sonographers, clinical
engineering, physicists, cardiac technicians etc, as we would like feedback from all perspectives. Please feel free to forward this survey to relevant staff.
