BEAI Early Career Award

 

BEAI are pleased to announce that we have extended the date for submission of the Early Career Award!

The Early Career Award honours outstanding contributions made by students, young researchers, junior-level academics and professionals to the field of Clinical Engineering and the application of medical technology in the health system. The total prize value amounts to €2000 and is reserved for Biomedical / Clinical Engineers whose age is less than 35 on July 31st in the year of the Conference. Members of the BEAI should submit their applications / nominations via the BEAI Conference Portal.

Applications / Nominations should be made not later than on 15th December, 2023.

In-house training at St Vincent's University Hospital

 

Gagan Pratap Singh, lead engineer for dialysis at St Vincent's University Hospital trains his colleagues on CRRT machine. Gagan is a certified engineer on Baxter CRRT machine and he completed the training in September.

The Declan Meagher Symposium - The National Maternity Hospital Annual Fetal Medicine Meeting

 

The Declan Meagher Symposium is the National Maternity Hospital Annual Fetal Medicine Meeting. This is a full day programme with lectures on Fetal Growth, Placenta Accreta Spectrum, Preterm delivery and Preventing Stillbirth. There will also be a Masterclass on the latest technologies in 3D Ultrasound. We are delighted to announce that Prof Basky Thilaganathan, Prof Eric Jauniaux and Dr Rocco Cuzzilla will be joining us as our international speakers. This ISUOG accredited Fetal Medicine Symposium is aimed at midwives, doctors, sonographers and radiographers practicing or interested in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Fetal medicine.
