BEAI Early Career Award

 

BEAI are pleased to announce that we have extended the date for submission of the Early Career Award!

The Early Career Award honours outstanding contributions made by students, young researchers, junior-level academics and professionals to the field of Clinical Engineering and the application of medical technology in the health system. The total prize value amounts to €2000 and is reserved for Biomedical / Clinical Engineers whose age is less than 35 on July 31st in the year of the Conference. Members of the BEAI should submit their applications / nominations via the BEAI Conference Portal.

Applications / Nominations should be made not later than on 15th December, 2023.

National Health Tech Innovation Awards 2023

 

The 11th annual National Health Tech Innovation Awards, in HealthTech Ireland’s 41st year, highlights the many valuable contributions HealthTech has brought to healthcare in Ireland. These awards are a platform for manufacturers, distributors, medical device and digital companies to showcase the state-of-the-art medical health technologies brought to the market and to demonstrate the positive impact they have for patients and the healthcare system.

HIHI Femtech Call 2023

 

The HIHI Femtech Call 2023 is a competition to select the best products or services aimed at women’s healthcare. Innovative products or services can be market-ready or in development.

The HIHI Femtech Call 2023 is open to Irish innovators (companies, start-ups, researchers) or innovators with an Irish base that have a product or service that:

  • meets a women’s healthcare need
  • has the potential to significantly impact women’s healthcare in Ireland and/or internationally
  • is market-ready or in development
  • for pilots, has (or will have) all the necessary regulatory approvals (e.g., CE mark) and insurances in place

Panel Discussion: Engineering Ethics & the Future of AI

 

The UCD Engineering Graduates Association (EGA)  welcomes a panel of experts to cover topical issues surrounding engineering ethics and the future of AI.
