Annual Scientific Conference 2023 - Registration open

 

The BEAI is proud to announce that we will be hosting the 26th Annual Scientific Conference on Friday 29th September 2023 in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork. The theme of the 2023 conference is ‘Diversity in Clinical Engineering’.  

We are also delighted to announce that Norso Medical will be the Gold Sponsor for the 2023 event.

We would highly recommend that you express your interest early as the event has been significantly oversubscribed in previous years.

The BEAI Annual Scientific Conference is the largest networking event for Biomedical & Clinical Engineers in Ireland.

Final Call For Abstracts

 

The BEAI ASC 2023 welcomes abstracts in all areas applied to Biomedical and Clinical Engineering. We encourage submissions that highlight the significant contribution Biomedical / Clinical Engineering make to the Irish healthcare system, the introduction of new initiatives, and the use of digital health as an enabling technology. Abstract authors will receive notifications of acceptance via email in the week of 21st August 2023.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS / NOMINATIONS FOR THE BEAI EARLY CAREER AWARD

 

The BEAI Executive Committee calls for applications / nominations for the 2023 BEAI Early Career Award. The prize will be awarded at the BEAI Annual Scientific Conference in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork on Friday 29th September 2023. The Early Career Award honours outstanding contributions made by students, young researchers, junior-level academics and professionals to the field of Clinical Engineering and the application of medical technology in the health system. The total prize value amounts to €2000 and is reserved for Biomedical / Clinical Engineers whose age is less than 35 on July 31st in the year of the Conference.

Members of the BEAI should submit their  applications / nominations via the BEAI Conference Portal. 

Applications / Nominations should be made not later than on 31st August, 2023.
